As the senior legal advisor to CA ANG’s four General Officers, she oversaw a dozen JAGs supporting 5,000 Guardsmen at five Wings and ten locations throughout the state.

Caryn is a highly decorated combat veteran and legal expert who was recognized with national-level awards, including the Department of Defense’s Prevention Innovation award for being a critical team member who changed how the CA ANG approached Sexual Assault cases.

Caryn also flew humanitarian missions into Bosnia and Russia while a navigator.
