Experienced Personal Injury and Criminal Defense Attorney

As a criminal defense attorney, Ms. Warren defended hundreds of clients charged with misdemeanors to serious and violent felonies – ranging from DUI, drug related offenses, resisting arrest, vehicular manslaughter, burglary, robbery, domestic violence, felony assaults, firearm and shooting related offenses, gang offense, pimping and pandering, and much more. Ms. Warren had a wealth of success negotiating dismissals and achieving positive outcomes for clients. In the chance negotiations do not result in advantageous resolutions, Ms. Warren has successfully defended cases at jury trial with favorable verdicts for her clients.

Ms. Warren later spent 4.5 years working as a Deputy District Attorney in Yolo County where she handled and tried cases from DUI and misdemeanors to drug crimes, fraud, domestic violence, sex charges, violent felonies and homicide. At the DA’s office, Caryn learned the perspective of the prosecutor, what drives their decisions, and what it takes to prove a case. Having worked on both sides allows a holistic perspective enabling her to see shortcomings in DA cases.

Highly Decorated Combat Veteran and Legal Expert

Caryn served 30 years in the United States Air Force Reserves. She was a Navigator in the USAF Reserves and logged over one hundred combat missions in C-130s during operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM.

As a Judge Advocate in the National Guard, Ms. Warren and was the first female Staff Judge Advocate to make the rank of Colonel in the California Air National Guard (CA ANG). As the senior legal advisor to CA ANG’s four General Officers, she oversaw a dozen JAGs supporting 5,000 Guardsmen at five Wings and ten locations throughout the state.

Caryn is a highly decorated combat veteran and legal expert who was recognized with national-level awards, including the Department of Defense’s Prevention Innovation award for being a critical team member who changed how the CA ANG approached Sexual Assault cases.
